# oOci

## Utility

`$oOCI` is a **soulbound** reward token that is obtained through [SPLASH 2.0](https://docs.ociswap.com/ociverse/tokens/pages/7BtJqrdfmYn7t5PTdUQ5#splash-2.0) system. This token constitutes a call option to obtain `OCI` at a discounted price from a dedicated component ([more info](/ociswap-dex/liquidity-incentives.md#ooci-rewards)).

## Emission Rate

The maximum number of `$oOCI` that can ever be minted is 60,000,000 as this quantity corresponds to the [`$OCI`](/ociverse/tokens/ooci.md) tokens [designated](/ociverse/tokens/oci.md#allocation) for Liquidity Incentives. The rate at which these emissions are brought into circulation, will follow an emission curve. This curve and the accompanying formula will be published upon the launch of [SPLASH 2.0](https://docs.ociswap.com/ociverse/tokens/pages/7BtJqrdfmYn7t5PTdUQ5#splash-2.0).
